According to the 2021 edition of the state of JS survey, documentation is the #1 answer to "Which factors do you prioritize when evaluating a new library?".
This question is about adding an external library to your project, but what is the implication of this question to your internal tools? Especially if you have many microservices. What is the cost (onboarding time, lost productivity, pain and suffering) of an internal tool with poor documentation?
